The U.S. Ski and Snowboard team represents nearly two hundred elite skiers and snowboarders competing in seven sports. The team also provides leadership and direction for tens of thousands of young skiers and snowboarders across the United States.

Challenge
The U.S. Ski and Snowboard team needs a reliable connection in remote and mountainous training areas to connect, use weather tracking devices, and go through video playbacks. The team also requires a cloud-based service and a connection with large bandwidth to access live video feeds of races to ensure the safety of the athletes.

Solution
The U.S. Ski and Snowboard team achieved unbreakable connectivity with the MAX HD4 MBX router installed in the team’s mobile wax truck. The router aggregates the bandwidth into a high-speed SD-WAN connection that athletes can connect to when local Wi-Fi is unavailable.

Result
The Ski Technician, Eli Brown, set up and brought the MAX HD4 MBX online in a breeze. The connection is always strong and secure, regardless of where the team is on the circuit. The team can operate with uninterrupted access to weather, databases, and changing the information on the events. They can also upload and watch videos for technique analysis.
