M2M Connectivity launches Q1000 Orbcomm Modem from Quake Global

Melbourne, Australia - October 28. M2M Connectivity, the Australian and New Zealand distributor of Quake Global satellite products is pleased to announce the availability of Quake’s Q1000 Modem for the Orbcomm satellite network.
The Q1000 Orbcomm Transceiver is Quake’s lowest priced Orbcomm modem incorporating the latest Orbcomm technology and measuring just 6.4x6.4x1.6cms. The Q1000 provides a simple serial interface that allows solutions to be integrated with minimal software development and very little external processing hardware. This interface supports operations with simple, programmable, serial sensors.
