Sierra Wireless MC7710 LTE/HSPA+ module |
|
The AirPrime MC7710 module allows developers to take advantage of the latest generation of high-speed mobile networks, delivering up to 100Mbps download speeds and 50Mbps upload speeds and integrated GPS capabilities as well as support for both Linux and Windows. The MC7710 offers LTE connectivity on 800/900/1800/2100/2600 MHz networks (Telstra is rolling out an LTE network in late 2011 using 1800 Mhz) and the MC7710 also supports HSPA+ (900/2100 Mhz) and GSM/GPRS. For more information on the MC7710 please click here. |
Sierra Wireless MC8705
The HSPA+ data speeds of the MC8705 allow developers to expand their applications into areas requiring higher bandwidth including video download, 3G broadband ethernet, and internet access. In addition the MC8705 offers integrated GPS (through support for Qualcomm's gpsOne technology) allowing developers to design in one module for both high speed cellular and GPS. The MC8704 voice version will be available May 2011. For more information on the Sierra Wireless MC8705 module, please click here. |
Radiocrafts RC1700HP-MBUS Long Range AMR Metering Module
It offers true narrowband performance in a 12.5 kHz channel, and up to 500 mW output power, achieving a link budget of 150 dB. The module support two-way communication at 2.4 and 4.8 kbps in 6 narrowband channels, and 38.4 kbps in a 50 kHz channel. The module contains the industry leading Wireless M-Bus protocol stack, supporting battery operated meter devices, concentrators and repeaters. The MC7710 provides 4G LTE Mobile Broadband connections for laptops and networking gear and can be easily integrate into a variety of devices requiring high speed LTE or HSPA+ connectivity.
Replacing the MC8700, the Sierra Wireless AirPrime MC8705 embedded module offers quad-band HSPA+ data speeds (up to 21 Mbps peak download speeds and peak uplink speeds up to 5.76 Mbp) across all 3G/HSPA networks operating in Australia and New Zealand.
The new RC1700HP-MBUS is a surface-mounted module measuring only 12.7 x 25.4 x 3.3 mm and uses the 169 MHz band for long range Automatic Meter Reading (AMR).
