Overview
The Sierra Wireless Discovery Tool (formally Expresso) is a simple and intuitive Windows® tool which enables ultra-fast configuration of modems as well as easy access to basic modem features. The hyper-easy graphical user interface enables you to access to these features while simultaneously visualising the AT commands that will be needed in the product development.
The software enables your to discover the connected device, configure it and perform a range of standard operations such as sending an SMS or setting up a GPRS connection to the Internet.

- AT "spy" window for each function, also provides total bi-directional control of AT commands.
- Retrieve band operation, network status, quality and carrier/operator name.
- Retrieve device parameters such as model, serial number, IMEI, IMSI, firmware version.
- Retrieve/Set echo cancellation, speaker/microphone selection, level control.
- Initiate Voice (with phonebook), CSD data, GPRS data calls.
- Retrieve/Set SMSC and send/receive SMS.
