Overview
The MC8775 has reached End of Life (EOL). Sierra Wireless now offer the pin compatible AirPrime MC8790 Intelligent Embedded Module.
The tri-band MC8775 PCI Express Mini Card, built using the MSM6280™ Mobile Station Modem™ chipset from QUALCOMM, offers peak download data rates of 7.2 Mbps and uplink of 384kbps. The MC8775 PCI Express Mini Card embedded module offers connectivity to all three HSDPA/UMTS frequency bands (850, 1900, 2100 MHz) and all four EDGE/GPRS bands (850, 900, 1800, and 1900 MHz) used worldwide, allowing seamless global roaming on the best available network.
The MC8775 is the non-voice enabled variant of the MC8775 modules designed for embedding into PC's and laptop computers
