Q-Pro 3G/Iridium/GPS Modem
Overview
The Quake Global Q-Pro 3G/Satellite Data Modem with 3G/Iridium/GPS is a self-contained dual-mode modem for use in remoate asset tarcking and monitoring. The small, rugged, environmentally-sealed (IP-67) modem contains the latest in advanced programmable features that allows developers and integrators to tailor their communications. It is ideal for customers wanting to send most of their data over 3G but needing satellite as a back-up for critical information when out of cellular coverage.
The Q-Pro delivers reliable two-way through the Iridium and terrestrial 3G/NextG networks. For location and navigational applications, the Q-Pro is equipped with an advanced 22-channel GPS system.
The Q-Pro modem has numerous customization options including routing of data over satellite/3G, inputs/outputs, memory, CANbus, and antenna detection. The Q-Pro incorporates an application programming interface (API) that allows developers to create customized onboard applications. In addition there is a detailed configuration software tool (available for a fee) that can be used to set up the Q-Pro for specific needs without the need for detailed programming.
