Quake Q2000 Orbcomm Modem
Overview
Replaced by Q4000 Orbcomm/GPS modem with CANBUS.
The Q2000 modem has full RF/EMI protection designed to ensure reliable operation in remote and severe environments. The J1708/CAN Bus interface allows for direct connection to the electronic computer system of many truck, buses, and heavy equipment vehicles, enabling alerts and warning from the on-board monitoring systems to be transmitted to a base station. GPS allows for tracking. This modem operates exclusively on the ORBCOMM system.
