SX1 Engine Run Time Cable Assembly
Overview
The Engine Run Time (ERT) cable assembly monitors and reports hours of engine run operation. The SX1 may be configured to measure and report hours of run-time as long as automotive power is applied. When power is discontinued, run time accumulation is suspended. Engine run data is reported in Engineering Message reports in one hour block resolution. The frequency can be adjusted to report days,hours, or minutes.
Numerex cable assemblies include all mounting hardware and are armored wiring harnesses approximately 10 feet in length that attach to the SX1’s USB port and to the automotive power (12-24VDC) or the point of entry. The USB connectors are water resistant and the components are epoxy potted for weather resistant use.
