Globalstar designs hardware for the tracking, monitoring and management of fixed and mobile remote assets on the Globalstar Simplex satellite network. Globalstar Simplex products are designed for use on Pivotel's Globalstar Simplex satellite data service providing extensive data coverage throughout Australia / New Zealand and beyond.
The Data everywhere® Simplex data service is a low cost, one way satellite data delivery solution that is ideal for tracking the location of mobile assets and monitoring of fixed assets in regional and rural areas around Australia and NZ. Industries that benefit from Simplex data service include shipping containers, road and rail transport, mining, heavy industrial equipment and any other high value assets.
Data sent from a Simplex device, is captured by the Globalstar satellite network and delivered through the Internet direct to the application service providers web server. The data is then decoded for use in the end user application.
